They are Rutland Regional Airport, Vermont (VT) (is 25 miles) and Lebanon Regional Airport, New Hampshire (NH) is (45 miles) from Killington.

AMTRAK   and Cape Air are your best travel options to/from Killington, Vermont to New York City. The round trip cost of AMTRAK is around $150 and Shuttle transportation from Rutland to Killington is $40 

AIR Ports (Rutland, VT, Lebanon NH, Burlington, VT )
The Local Regional Airports are small commuter type airports which we call LEVEL-1 which are within 25 to 45 mile radius of Killington, VT.

LEVEL-1 - RUTLAND VT/LEBANON NH  -  There are two small local airports that service the Killington Region.  Rutland connects to Level 3 Airport Logan International Airport.  It is a JET BLUE connector Airline. Consider making your reservation with Jet Blue and save.  

There are 3 incoming/outgoing flights a day from Boston Logan to Rutland Vermont. The Lebanon N.H Airport connects to two Airports. Boston (4 Flights Incoming/outgoing a day) as well as Westchester, New York (4 Flights a day, incoming/outgoing) which includes a free LIMO rider to 38th and 5th Ave. New York City as well. If you are flying another carrier make your reservations with Cape Air. The Lebanon Flights to/from Boston is almost an hour earlier on first and last flight each day over Rutland.

The LEVEL-2 Airports – Burlington, VT is your best option with Albany/Manchester your next best with Hartford International Airport being popular if you are going to Bromley/Stratton SKI Area and not Killington

AMTRAK Train Service
Rutland, VT, White  River Junction, VT and White Hall,  and Albany, NY

There are three AMTRAK train Routes that service the Killington Area/Region:
Rutland, Vermont (VT) – Your best option from PENN STATION TO KILLINGTON VT -The Rutland train station is 20 miles from Killington. There is one train a day in both directions and you need a reservation. There is no ticket Agent in the Rutland train station. Please remember this First (do not go to PENN station to get a ticket without a reservation on a holiday or Friday). Second (If they say the train from New York Penn Station is SOLID OUT to Rutland (its only solid out from Penn Station to Albany only).

There are lots of trains to Albany. You must take a train to Albany before the train leaves Albany for Rutland.  There has never been a solid out train from Albany to Rutland in the history of AMTRAK.   The train from Penn Station in New York arrives at 9:05pm every day except Friday night which is 11:30pm. This train takes about 5.1/2 hours. No Public Bus service is available to/from the Rutland train station. We Gramps Shuttle provide Door to Door service including Condo check in Shuttle Service from Rutland Amtrak Station to the various Killington Resort Homes and Condos. 

White River Junction (38 miles from Killington) there is one train a day in each direction from New York City Grand Central Station. The number of stop and elapse time from NY City to White River can range from (7 to 8 Hours).  The Rutland Amtrak Train takes less hours and stops. The advantages of this train are those who need access from Connecticut and Western Mass.

White Hall, New York (55 miles from Killington). There is one train a day from Albany, NY to White Hall, New York which is on time 95% of the time. However, the Montreal train to White Hall, New York is never on time (always 1 to 2 hours late), because of Canada/US Border crossing/customs.  This train is normally used to/from Montreal only. No one uses this train from Albany, NY to get to Killington. There is no ground transportation in White Hall.

There is no bus service from Albany, NY to Rutland, VT 
There is no Bus Service from White River Junction/Lebanon, NH to Killington or Rutland.
